Is your company appropriate for investment?
Do you know what investors are looking for?
Do you speak investors’ language?
Raising investment can often seem enigmatic and frustrating, but it needn’t be. Raising capital is like selling. Before you meet prospective clients, you need to figure out who to approach, understand your prospects’ needs, and speak their language. There is no dark art to raising finance, just a bit of education and a lot of preparation.
The g2i Investment Readiness Programme is developed and delivered by g2i’s experienced fundraising team and is designed to enlighten entrepreneurs about the investment raising process. This 1-day workshop gives entrepreneurs the opportunity to take another perspective on their own businesses by donning the investor’s hat.
What will you learn? During this workshop, we will help you
• Determine whether venture capital is a viable source of funding for your business
• Understand the investor perspective
• Understand the tools needed to raise capital
• Hone your elevator pitch
• Understand company valuations and financial forecasting
• Know what to expect from the due diligence process
• Understand investment structures
The next workshop will be held on Monday, 9 November 2009, and is available through invitation only. There is limited capacity and registrations will be taken on a first come first serve basis, so please register early. To register or to find out more information about the g2i Investment Readiness Programme, please contact Rebecca Watson at rebecca.watson@pembridge.net
