Hello!

We specialise in producing design for small to medium sized businesses - producing design work that will help them promote their business. This includes logos, business stationery, promotional material and exhibition graphics. I am friendly and easy to deal with, and I have experience of working in a variety of business sectors.

I would like to make contact with people who can help me promote my business, and also people with web skills to work with me on design projects.

Earlyarts is a professional development network for those working creatively with young children and families. We are delighted to invite tenders for two dynamic new roles in the Earlyarts team as it expands to fill a rather large but lovely pair of national boots, one of which is in PR and Marketing (inc social media).

This is an opportunity to be part of something that makes real change happen across the country, and does so in a joined up, sustainable and responsible way. Details at

PRESS RELEASE
For Immediate Release

“ARTICLES OF HOPE, ADORNMENTS FOR JUSTICE”

Manchester Jewellers Network present their new exhibition for 2009, “Articles of Hope, Adornments for Justice” a collection of body adornments based on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR).

Launching at: The Royal Exchange Theatre, St Anns Square Manchester, M2 7DH
The Mezzanine Gallery July 1st – Aug 21st
Exhibition Launch Event: Thursday July 2nd 5.30-7pm

Eleven MJN members have interpreted eleven articles from the UDHR to create unusual, individual and often personal jewellery pieces. Fundamental themes and issues addressed include freedom of choice, hunger, industrial disease, access to medicine, the female right to vote, knife crime and China’s rule over Tibet.

Launching at the Royal Exchange Theatre Mezzanine Gallery on July 1st and running until Aug 21st, the jewellery is supported by a photography exhibition by Jonathan Keenan, showing shots of the work worn on the body. Taking a journalistic stance the photographs show the pieces in context, challenging and prompting the viewer’s response to everyday human rights issues.

Supported by the Arts Council England, this unique exhibition takes a fresh look at the concept of “Campaign Jewellery.” Jewellery is not solely worn for the decoration and adornment of the wearer but deliberately carries symbolic significance to show marks of allegiance, political, religious or ethical persuasions to challenge the viewer. Through the unusual medium of art jewellery, MJN have grasped the right to freedom of expression, educating, challenging and provoking the viewer’s responsibility to a fairer world.

The Manchester Jewellers Network (MJN) was established in 2002 and is a regional group of the Association for Contemporary Jewellery (ACJ). The group meets regularly to network, lend mutual support and plan challenging new initiatives for both emerging and established jewellers. Through exhibitions MJN develops the profiles of designers in the region, raising an awareness of bespoke work and developing a forum for art jewellery. Exhibiting in new venues accessible to culturally diverse audiences MJN tours work both nationally and internationally.

Hi all,
I am a commercial Photographer who likes shooting people (with a camera).I take product/pack/Function/Events/Architecture and Portraits.
Been in business for over twenty years.
I recently launched Photographic Tours of Liverpool with a view to getting people away from using the automatic mode and to the Manual so they can be more creative. If a group of six come along together then one will go free.
