On Friday 14th May sparkleVFX officially launches its new portfolio, to celebrate this launch we’ve partnered with FACT and Light-nights to bring you an evening of live 3D modelling. The night is aimed at people who are new to 3D and would like to see the pipeline in action., from concept drawing through to modelling and lighting. The live modelling will take place at 6.30pm (doors 6pm) and will be held my sparkleVFX new Creative Director Glen Southern. Several 20 minute session will be held up until 8pm. Also on hand we’ll have art directors from Activision Games to give any advice to up and coming 3D artists wanting to get into the games industry. We’re also bringing with us Small Fish Creations who set up an independent company straight from uni, they’ll be on hand to answer any questions about the troubles of setting up.

Sparkle staff will be on hand throughout the evening taking any questions, demoing software and giving some handy hints. We’ve prizes to give away on the evening including 2 x Silo 3D Licenses, 2 x Ballistic Media Arts books and 1 x latest Activision games title.

The evening has been branded by sparkleVFX’s new creation for FACT

On Friday the 14th May sparkleVFX will be at the FACT centre in Liverpool as part of the Light Night Event. As the evening coincides with sparkleVFX launch night we’re giving away some great prizes. We have 2 fully licensed copies of the excellent 3D package Silo www.nevercenter.com (used by sparkleVFX) and 2 copies of D’Artiste Character Modelling book from Ballistic Media. digital imaging is my game, capturing images is what i do, in old money i am a photographer, new money i am a photographer...
