Tell us more about your creative business...
Trained as a fashion designer and fashion illustrator, I became a self-employed designer after graduation with my own retail outlet in Kensington, London. From there I built my own label and began selling my Womenswear collections both Nationally and Internationally. Since 2001 I have worked as a lecturer in fashion design, and have recently resumed working as a fashion illustrator.

Hi Carol, I am a jewellery designer based in Wigan, seliing on MISI and through my own site www.misty-rose.co.uk. I would be willing to supply/loan my own jewellery for use and after a photo shoot with golley slater feel comfortable with being photod/illustrated with the jewellery.
Had a look at your portfolio too and love your work. Jan
Sounds like you want something fairly clean and simple, which wouldn't be a problem at all. Have a look at the sites I mentioned, although they may not be the best indicators, as they are more music based... I can tailor a site to however you like really. Would you want any sort of online shop function? For people to actually purchase your work, or just to view it?
It would probably be good to meet up and discuss it in more depth, I'm based largely from an office above Tabac on Bold St. Do you know it? Where do you work?
I could probably meet sometime next week if that's good for you?
Thanks for the message... yes I could certainly help you with a website, do you have in mind what you'd like the site to be like?
Here is a website I've worked on recently... http://www.fertilizerfestival.com/
I worked in partnership with the festival design team who supplied the brand guidelines, colour scheme, images etc. It's a fairly simple format using Wordpress software. I've also recently edited some myspace pages for clients, and I've built websites from scratch before, just using HTML code. I'm currently working on my own personal website.. http://www.lazy-genius.co.uk but it's in its very early stages, so it's not a very good indicator really.
Drop me a line... email@example.com and maybe give me more of an idea of what you'd like from the website, how complex you'd like it etc and then I can let you know what sort of price you might be looking at.
I'm based in Liverpool, I see you're not too far away in Runcorn, if you're in Liverpool any time soon we could always have a quick coffee and a chat about what you're after and maybe how I can help you with general marketing as well as a website.
look forward to hearing from you,
