Briefly describe your creative business - or your interest in creative businesses
My organisation is called China Here And There. We create and produce work for theatre, literature, music and film, all with a focus on modern China and the modern Chinese.
Tell us more about your creative business...
Focusing on modern China and the modern Chinese, we run projects based in the UK, and are developing links with Europe and various Provinces in China. Our latest work is a full-length stage play, "What Time Is It, Mr Wu?" which starred David Yip and Jennifer Lim. Our latest book is "Rice Ticket", a novel set in Beijing and Wuhan, and our new book, also called "What Time Is It, Mr Wu? is due out in time for the coming Chinese New Year, Feb 2010. We have lots of partners in the UK, and are always looking for more partners with ideas like ours, in other words anyone interested in creative arts with a China or Chinese connection. Our aim is to present a full, entertaining and accurate picture of modern China abd the modern Chinese, avoiding cliche and stereotype.
Information, ideas and contacts you'd like, to help you become even more successful in your creative business
We would like to hear from anyone from any country or nationality who is interested in the creative arts connected with modern China and the modern Chinese. We would be very pleased to hear from creative artists in theatre, literature, music or film, and all other staff connected with the creative process in those platforms. We would also be very happy to answer any general enquiries about our work and our products. Ged Neary, Director.
