Coach/Business Mentor/Facilitator/Writer - Business Editor, craft&design Magazine
Tell us more about your creative business...
I’ve coached more than 85 individuals over the last three years.

The people I work with are usually in the process of development or change - of career, business or world-view and looking to move forward, unravel muddled thinking, or get a new slant on their strengths and talents.

For example: CEOs, senior academics, celebrities, visual artists, writers, designers, performers and directors, film-makers, sculptors, furniture makers, award winning business people – highly motivated people who make a living from their leadership, ideas and creativity.

'Pete has the ability to listen not only to what one is saying, but also to what one isn't saying, and to draw insightful conclusions ...this is invariably to the good as it enables one to broaden one's horizons and to see the wood amongst the trees.' F.M. (creative industry client)

'I very much admire the way that you are able to keep a core understanding of creative process, and its worth, at the heart of what you deliver. Thanks very much for all your comments and advice. It certainly left me with lots to think about and follow up on.' M. P. (calligrapher)

I write regularly for Craft & Design magazine and other periodicals, and create content and toolkits for the web.

I also work with creative, cultural and social organisations - currently evaluating a BME cultural leadership course for Kirklees Council, business planning with DIVA in Wakefield, and undertaking a 'mystery customer' CRM project with a software company in the East Midlands.

I've worked with creative people for the whole of my career - setting up and running post-graduate courses, artists mentoring schemes, business start-up training, and continuing professional development programmes.

I have run my own business since 1984.

I'm trained to postgraduate level in Business and Personal Coaching, with additional training in Business Mentoring. I'm a Business Link/EMDA approved supplier with a 5* rating.

East Midlands based, but travel widely for work.

Artists/Writers retreat in France - great location and hosts.

My brother Frank and his partner Julie run this fabulous cottage with pool in France. To quote from their website:

The tiny hamlet of Les Brugues, in the Dordogne (Dept 24) is just minutes from the fairytale Chateau de Biron and the beautiful Bastide towns of Monpazier, Villereal, Monf… Continue

Hi Pete, Sure I would like the details of the metalworker; marvellous of you to make contact. However, rather than give his details for the world to review, I am sending you a separate email to your business box.
Best

Hi Pete
great to hear from you and yes it looks like we'd have a lot to share. Where are you based? I recognise your name from the East Mids? .....
